Publisher's summary

A woman discovers the father of the child she is nannying may be her biggest (Only)Fan in this steamy contemporary romance by Lana Ferguson.

Suddenly unemployed and on the brink of eviction, Cassie Evans is left with two choices: get a new job (and fast) or fire up her long-untouched OnlyFans account. But the job market is terrible, and as for OnlyFans. . . . Well, there are reasons she can’t go back. Just when all hope seems lost, an ad for a live-in nanny position seems like the solution to all her problems. It’s almost too perfect—until she meets her would-be employer.

Aiden Reid, executive chef and DILF extraordinaire, is far from the stuffy single dad Cassie was imagining. He shocks her when he tells her she’s the most qualified applicant he’s met in weeks, practically begging her to take the job. With hands that make her hindbrain howl and eyes that scream sex, the idea of living under the same roof as Aiden feels dangerous, but with no other option, she decides to stay with him and his adorably tenacious daughter, Sophie.

Cassie soon discovers that Aiden is not a stranger at all, but instead someone who is very familiar with her—or at least, her body. Given that he doesn’t remember her, Cassie is faced with what feels like an impossible situation. As their relationship heats to temperatures hotter than any kitchen Aiden has ever worked in, Cassie struggles with telling Aiden the truth, and the more terrifying possibility—losing the best chance at happiness she’s ever had.

Critic reviews

“I need more books like The Nanny, stat. A smart, educated heroine (yes please!) meets a driven, career-focused single dad. Sparks fly....and fly, and fly. Seriously, this book is like if Ali Hazelwood and Tessa Bailey had a smutty baby. I devoured every page and was sad to see it end. This is the spice BookTok wants! Now I need Lana Ferguson to work faster, because I want to see everything she writes.”—Ruby Dixon, international bestselling author

The Nanny is sweet, beautifully sexy, and Aiden is the single Zaddy you want in your life. An amazing debut.”—Elena Armas, New York Times Bestselling Author

"Smart, fun, sexy, and sizzling with romantic tension, The Nanny is a mouthwateringly delicious take on second chances with a healthy dash of steam. I can't wait for more from Lana Ferguson!"—Sara Desai, author of The Singles Table

Heartwarming but hot!!!!

I loved it! It was very heartwarming story towards the little girl, and showing that it takes time and trial to win a little one’s heart specially after what she went thru!!! Wanda was a hoot, I hope that when I’m old I grow up to be like her!!! And the story between the 2 main characters was HOT!!!!
My new favorite saying is “Diddle your Skittle” (Wanda)

Forced Proximity Nannies

I really wanted to love this book. Got very excited about it and was ready for it. The narrators were good and I enjoyed most of the story. I'm not sure if I just got to excited about it but it fell flat for me.

Disappointing narration for a great book

Really enjoyed the stores but unfortunately the narration was not what I would have expected from the character descriptions. Suspension of disbelief for the MMC who does not sound like his voice causes the MFC to feel a certain way like it’s supposed to. Her voice for him is better than his. Disappointing.

Must read!

All the spice of Fifty Shades with a much more endearing and realistic love story. I immediately fell in love with all of the characters. Such a slow sweet burn in the beginning and then, holy sh*t, you’re knocked out with some super steamy scenes! Impressed with this debut author and can’t wait to see what more she creates. **make sure you’re listening to this with ear buds! 🥵🔥 Narration is 😙👌🏼 chef’s kiss 💕

I think about this book every day

Not a day goes by that I don’t think about the love story or spice of this book. The narrator, wow, I thought she had to narrate every single book but I listened to her reading another authors book and it wasn’t the same. The author and narrator are the best combo. Soooo funny. I’m itching for her next book!

Tissues! so many tissues!

I thought it was a romance book, I didn't know I'd give my heart to a little girl and an 80+ year old woman. Loved the story, hated for it to end. Ugh now I need to reread this one!

This was the perfect book for me! Very steamy very cute multiple chili peppers!

it had a great storyline! Super cute guy, trying to do his best to be a single dad while managing his career as a chef money wasn’t an object for him where the female lead was trying to do a best to put herself through school. Her witness really sold the story a very spicy love story.

Not Uptown Girls

The Nanny was an okay story. The main character Cassie was a bit tough to follow, I wasn't vibing with her. There also wasn't much turmoil that wasn't self inflicted. It was fine.
