Acerca de esta escucha

“Read this book, strengthen your resolve, and help us all return to reason.” —JORDAN PETERSON

There’s a war against truth … and if we don’t win it, intellectual freedom will be a casualty.

The West’s commitment to freedom, reason, and true liberalism have become endangered by a series of viral forces in our society today. Renowned host of the popular YouTube show The Saad Truth, Dr. Gad Saad exposes how an epidemic of idea pathogens are spreading like a virus and killing common sense in the West.

Serving as a powerful follow-up to Jordan Peterson’s book 12 Rules for Life, Dr. Saad unpacks what is really happening in progressive safe zones, why we need to be paying more attention to these trends, and what we must do to stop the spread of dangerous thinking. A professor at Concordia University who has witnessed this troubling epidemic first-hand, Dr. Saad dissects a multitude of these concerning forces (corrupt thought patterns, belief systems, attitudes, etc.) that have given rise to a stifling political correctness in our society and how these have created serious consequences that must be remedied—before it’s too late.

AMAZING

Do you question everything you have seen in 2020. Well read this book and become Woke....The Real Woke not that nonsense that is being peddled on mainstream or legacy media. The Gadfather brilliantly explains all the bs we have been subjected to and more importantly what our kids have been subjected to. Thank you Gad for fighting the good fight. Everyone time to must up courage and grab your intellectual spear and defend yourselves. Enjoy

Gad Saad is rad. Gad Saad is good not bad.

This wonderful little book is profound. It elucidates the pervasive problem with the oxymoronic "leftist thinking." A must read for anyone interested in the current culture wars in western civilization.

A "must read"

Even if you fully understand the moral blindness and hypocritical ideology coming out of college/university students and working its way into the general population, this book has more to add.

This book outlines the importance of personal judgments and discriminations. Most importantly the reality of the stories many fall victim to are corrected and supported.

Refreshing

Gad is one of the few remaining professors who is not afraid of the Mob or silly cancel culture nonsense. His candor and researched back examples make this read a delight. Great book!!!

A Critical Read

I do not write reviews. But let us be frank. We have bent reality in our time. While free speech is critical to uphold liberal values of a society — values that gave us science, reason, positive and democratic change to the benefit of all — not all are in a perfect state — far from it. The only path forward to uphold reason and build better futures for any and all is to take stock in understanding ideas and where they come from. The Parasitic Mind attempts to point us to that third-eye, or mindful outlook when we engage with an idea. Freedom of ideas, yes, but not all ideas are created equal. Be careful out there.

Immunize yourself against a parasitic world.

Saad painstakingly takes apart the forces attacking basic liberties in the West, including freedom of speech and thought. He demonstrates that we can all stand up to the bully mob, without incurring anything like the price paid by our forebears to secure freedom. The Parasitic Mind is full of hilarious and insightful biological, sociological, and historical examples and concludes with great advice for living a meaningful life resisting the nihilistic drift.

When is Gad going to be the narrator?

It's a masterpiece! When can we hear it the silky smooth voice of Gad though?
