What does it mean to be an Influencer?
Gary Laney was someone I was privileged to work with for a few short weeks while serving my mission for the LDS Church in California. He had a big impact on me due to his positive attitude and incredible mindset.
When I first heard he had written a book back in 2021 I was excited to read it. However it sat on my to be read list for a very long time.
What does it mean to be an influence on someone? How do you learn how to make an impact on those around you? Do you surround yourself with people who build you up and influence you to be your absolute best? Are you networking with people who want to provide you with a better reputation based on the sphere of influence they have?
This book helped me to think about how I influence those I work with as well as those I interact with outside of work. It also made me think that when you try to use your influence in a strategic way to build your relationships with others it can have a major impact on you both personally and professionally.
Super awesome read!
