Great for everyone!

I am a anti aging person and advanced lifter. Even with all my experience, I still picked up some great nuggets of information from Sal. If you’re looking to get motivated, stay motivated or just learn more about our bodies and how we can stay young, healthy and fit, this is the right book for you.

Great information

I believe this is the only healthy eating and exercise book I will ever need. It’s easy to follow and understand. Sal refrains from promoting one diet over another and encourages his readers to figure out what works and doesn’t for each individual. I plan to buy additional copies for my teens, who are athletes making their own choice and want understanding nutrition and fueling their bodies well. I believe I t’s a great book for all ages. Thank you

Recommended for beginners

Mind Pump did a great job with this book. All information in it can be found via their podcast. Great information, but it is from one perspective of training. I highly recommend for anyone just starting their fitness journey

Life changing!

Purchased this audiobook after it was mentioned on Mindpump. Listened to this for a week and started changing my eating and activity habits. I’ve already lost 5lbs, but most importantly I am feeling much better. I will likely be listening to this again in the near future to help reinforce the healthy habits Sal mentions throughout the book. I am hoping I can stay disciplined and build a healthier relationship with myself and my body.

A Perfect Place To Start!

Sal does a great job speaking to the beginner, along with enticing the educated personal trainer. Having a solid source to create your baseline of fitness is needed and Sal provided an easy to listen source. I would recommend buying the physical book if you are a beginner - although the audio is amazing, and the PDFS are available, being able to directly
reference specifics would be helpful for the
beginner.

If you're trying to lose weight permanently....

.....this is the book for you!

This book is not written for fitness fanatics. Let's be honest, most people don't have time to go to the gym and exercise 5, 6, or even 7 times per week. Yes, I listen to Mind Pump Podcast everyday since Feb 2020, this book is everything the podcast repeatadly teaches all condensed into this little book.
I used to weigh 225 lbs as a truck driver, I got down to 160ish, but all via cardio with weights, excessively all on HIIT training, with no rest periods. I plateued and fat started creeping back on.. Then after gyms closed, it just got worse, I was back up to 200 lbs in no time. My body had adapted to that style of training, not that there's anything wrong with HIIT if used appropriately, but when I stopped training like that, it didn't take much for weight to come back on. Now I've been working on resistance training the correct way (via Mind Pump's programs), it's been slow, but slow progress is sustainable progress, right? Now I've lost 3 belt loops despite my scale weight staying right around 200 lbs! I'm actually eating more food too! I can't believe it! This feels great 👍🏼
