Publisher's summary
Welcome to the Empire of Pangaea: a land of legends, mutants, technological marvels, and every form of sin you can imagine. Peace should be within reach in a world united under the global empire. But as a new species of superpowered mutants starts to grow in number, so does unrest.
As the world teeters on the edge of war, two enemies must become unlikely allies. Arianne Murray, a forgotten warrior princess, and Blackjack, an infamous bounty hunter, must put aside their differences to survive the growing chaos. Their abilities and humanity are tested as they are thrown into a dystopian journey of survival and forced to grapple with feral mutants, deadly tricksters, and a tyrant who will stop at nothing until he owns the world.
Prepare to take flight in the action-packed first installment of the five-part Legends of Pangaea series concocted in the underground labs of Pangaea. The chemical formula is perfect for sci-fi fans who love comic book superpowers, fast-paced action, and romantic spice.

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
Three months ago, Tansy Bloom quit monster hunting. Since then, she’s been trying to live a normal life (whatever that means), but ending up single, unemployed, and living on a boat outside her godfather’s pub definitely wasn’t part of the plan. So, when Tansy’s ex-husband – fellow monster hunter Rex Barclay – turns up like a bad penny and asks for her help with his latest investigation, Tansy reluctantly agrees. At first, the job appears to be a straightforward monster hunt – following a spate of large creature sightings, Rex believes a werewolf is on the loose in Norfolk.

Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
Since Adalina can remember, the men in her life have expected obedience and compliance from her. But how can she give that to them when her destiny is to follow in her grandmother’s footsteps and soar upon the dragon’s back? When the neighboring kingdom of Astarfall insists on an ancient marriage ceremony to wake the slumbering dragon, it seems Adalina’s dreams are at long last within reach. But marriage to an arrogant, smirking Prince—even one as breathtakingly sexy as this one—means placing power and authority in yet another man’s hands.

Sixty-seven years ago the Qash'vo'tar conquered Earth. Ever since then, the aliens had ruled from above. The Qash'vo'tar did not care what humanity did on the ground, as long as they didn't attempt to build anything that could get them to the stars. And now, sixty-seven years after they had been conquered, it was time for humanity to show the Qash'vo'tar that they had been right to fear humanity.

He remembers dying. He remembers darkness. And then…he woke up inside of an egg. Reborn as a dragon in a realm of magic and knights, this plucky fellow doesn’t appreciate his new murderous siblings. He also thinks that the giant ice wyverns should stop screaming so much when they duel for territory, the monster chicken needs to be relocated from his vicinity, small lizards with teeth need to leave him alone, and Cecily Snoweldon is either a gift from above or his form of eternal condemnation. He’s not sure yet. She’s kind of weird.

Going to college didn’t mean I escaped the watchful eye of my parents. They say the cameras outside my home are for my protection, but I knew better. When I manage to escape to a party without being seen, I find myself staring right into the wicked golden eyes of Rafe Crimson. I know immediately that he's bad news, that I should walk, no, run away…Yet, I don’t. Instead, I find a way to see him again. Only our second meeting is nothing like our first. There’s something animalistic about Rafe this time and before I can stop what’s happening, he turns me into a werewolf.

Fast Paced and Heartfelt!
This had all the action of a major blockbuster without shying away from darker side of conflict! The characters were fleshed out and real, and the cast was diverse and fresh! I’m excited to dive into the rest of the series to see where Arianne and Blackjack’s story goes next!
