Resumen del Editor

The Galaxy is ruled by a single Empire—but the Imperial throne is empty.

The machine races demand a turn at the job, but the organics refuse to allow it. For more than a century, the Galactics have battled for supreme power. War and instability reign in place of peace, with every species spread over a hundred billion stars suffering as the Empire decays.

James McGill discovers a scheme is underway. A new power is rising, determined to snatch the Throne from all the rest. Will this unite the Galactic Empire, or destroy it utterly?

Find out in Throne World, the thrilling twenty-first book of the Undying Mercenaries series. With millions of copies sold, USA Today bestselling author B. V. Larson is the king of modern military science fiction.

Where do I go to sign up for a lifetime subscription? I probably have between 10 and 20 years left.

Why is this so entertaining!

It is the same story as always, the cohort screws up everything on green deck, Galina is upset about something, Carlos is an oaf, Harris moans and Sargon dies. Winslade's misinterpretation and McGill's lack of understanding of situations are almost unbelievable at this point.

It is really strange but I find myself wishing and dreading that the story would end soon. Usually, when an author follows a formula, I am bored and checked out by the third book, yet, here we are on book 21 of the exact same thing, and it is freaking marvellous.

As always the performance is perfect with each character having a distinct sound and personality.

The story was interesting and very detailed.

I like the main character and his personality. Also how he reflects past experiences.

Narration is great

After all the novels in this series, the author still spins an entertaining story…enjoyed it.

McGill's character NEEDS to evolve!

I love this series however, here is the giant BUT! There is just no way in hell that ANYONE that knows McGill would believe his I'm a dumb ass routine. Sure it would work on people that didn't know him, but people that have been with him for decades now would not fall for it over and over again. I hope and want the series to continue but Larson has to evolve McGill's character.

This is the only reason I'm not rating this 5 stars.

More great adventures of the McGill creature.

Yet again another great adventure of James McGill.
I am enjoying the slow progression of the underlying plot or evolution of the the galactic politics as earth slowly beces a more prominent player on the galactic stage.

Always entertaining story with familiar characters

Highly recommend this series about a space-trotting, endearing womanizer that always ends up at the center of major action and conspiracies, has about 10 girlfriends, died multiple awful ways, travelled across our galaxy but continues to live in a shed at the back of his parents country house in Georgia lol

This author/narrator team always delivers! Each storyline is interesting on it's own, Mark Boyett stays consistent and creative with characters and as far as I'm concerned the series can go on forever. It's not overly dramatic but serious enough, it's entertaining and not too far fetched.
