Really enjoyable listen!
I’m a big fan of Devney Perry. I think a big part of that is that her characters are so likable. I want to know what is going to happen to each of them. I want to hear about their adventures and how they fell in love and built a relationship.
This book is one of my favorites by her. Willa is a shy girl with a crush on a man who doesn’t know she exists. Jackson is a man with a difficult past. I enjoyed hearing about their relationship with each other and with each characters family. I like that this is not an insta-love, relationship built on physical attraction romance. I really appreciate the depth of the relationship, including all of the struggles. There is even a bit of mystery and adventure to add to the story.
Narration is great! Highly recommend!!

I absolutely loved this book!!!
Willa has loved Jackson since she was a teenager and one night he kisses her....but he forgot it happened!!
In most books there is usually so much push and pill, that it eventually becomes annoying!! Not this book. Willa is not a doormat, nor is she whiney and indecisive. Jackson comes off as a jerk, but it doesn't last and you can't hell but love him. Maxine Mitchell (whom I do not love) was awesome in this book, and Aaron Shedlock, well there are no words for his awesomeness! Everyone should read this!!!

Awww, Willa and Jackson!
Fantastic story of love and overcoming trauma with some deep themes regarding absentee, abusive parenting. Willa and Jackson could not have come from more opposite parenting backgrounds and it is the basis of a majority of their turmoil. There were some deeply emotional moments of “loving him through it” and others of standing your ground. Excellent !

Classic unrequited love story
Timid is book 2 in the Lark Cove series and it did not disappoint! We met Jackson and Willa separately in Tattered so I was excited to see how their story played out. We did get a glimpse at the beginning of their story in the first book as well and for me those unrequited loves just hit different 💕 To see how he ended up fighting for her was just perfection. Also the twist of everything at the end with his past created the best plot line for the second half of the book!

Dream Team Narrators
Timid is another beautiful book by @devneyperry about a tough and rugged bad boy, Jackson and sweet Willa.
Willia met Jackson years ago and knew at that moment she would love him one day. Unfortunately he hasn’t noticed her in that way. After one kiss everything changes. Jackson has a hard past that barges in on his present and makes this story full of angst and emotional moments.
Willia may come off soft and weak at moments but the strength she has to give all her love to Jackson is beautiful. She will do anything to let Jackson know he deserves her love and fight for what she wants.
@narratormaxine and @aaronshedlock narrate both of these books and are a match made in heaven. They pulled at all my heartstrings and were absolutely amazing!
