Publisher's summary

About three things I was certain.

First, Edward was a vampire.

Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominant that part might be, that thirsted for my blood.

And Third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

Isabella Swan's move to Forks, a small, perpetually rainy town in Washington, could have been the most boring move she ever made. But once she meets the mysterious and alluring Edward Cullen, Isabella's life takes a thrilling and terrifying turn. Up until now, Edward has managed to keep his vampire identity a secret in the small community he lives in, but now nobody is safe, especially Isabella, the person Edward holds most dear. The lovers find themselves balanced precariously on the point of a knife, between desire and danger.

Deeply sensuous and extraordinarily suspenseful, Twilight captures the struggle between defying our instincts and satisfying our desires. This is a love story with bite.

Not bad

I've read a few of the reviews where they say that the performer, isn't really any good.
I don't find that to be the case, I found that she read it very well.
I enjoyed listening, and can't wait to listen to the rest.

Twilight review

I hate the way she says Bella. Also, this sounds like a Disney princess story. Bella isn’t chipper like this narrator.

"spicy" teenage love story.

The story is actually pretty good. It's definitely geared towards a younger audience. I have some issues with Bella's childish behavior and Edwards controlling/manipulative behavior, but it's good for what it is. The performance is great, though!

Enjoyable listen

I have read this series when it first came out and I loved it. Listening to a book is always a new type of adventure. I love the narrator, She did an excellent job. Can’t wait to start book 2. 💕

Great story, but her voice...

It’s a classic of course, but god, the way this woman says beLAH... and her rhythm and inflections often times don’t match. Want to hear the books, so I suffer through, but god I wish someone would do better.

I love twilight

I love the twilight books. I've read them and re read them. I decided to download them on audible. the narrator was fine. but sometimes bland. I love when a narrator changes the tone and pitches for each character which she doesn't do.

Love the story but the Narrator is terrible

I loved the books and wanted to buy the audio book but the narrator is terrible. While her voice is not a pleasant one to listen to the worst part is that you can hardly differentiate between the characters.

Loved!

I loved the movie series but had not read the books. I enjoyed the first one- obviously the movie left off quite a bit. I did see the other reviews. Most I agree with but I disagree with the ones regarding the narrator. I loved this narrator. Not the save as the movie but you wouldn’t expect it to be. She did a great job! I will listen to the series- hoping the same narrator is doing the remaining of the books.
