ok
This title was recommend from someone who said they had trouble sleeping, it was so scary… and disturbing. I guess I went in expecting more. It was alright, not scary or disturbing in my opinion. I’d recommend it if you need to exhaust a credit. There also was never a clear answer as to what it was or what was going on/why things were happening.

WTF
This book was confusing as hell. Not even sure what I just listened to, tbh. Also, the audiobook was incredible annoying keeping in the Morse code beeps. Thank you for giving me heart palpitations at the end of every chapter!!!! I wish someone could’ve given me the cliff notes of this because i genuinely don’t know what this book was.

Kind of Boring, Kind of Exciting
This book really ebbed and flowed. There were so many boring parts where the story just dragged with moot details and backstory. Then, there were some parts that were actually exciting and interesting. Because of the mundane parts though, I kept finding myself wanting the book to end already, so I could move on. The voice actor’s pacing kept throwing me off, too. The way she inflected her voice sometimes annoyed me because it was like she was following a rhythm or pattern that became so predictable and obvious that it was like listening to the same song on repeat for hours on end.

This was legit scary
I love listening to horror books as audiobooks because a good performance ups the creepy factor. This one certainly had me sleeping with the lights on! I know a lot of people didn't understand/like the ending, but I personally think the unanswered questions contribute to making the story memorable. It's been days since I finished and I'm still thinking about it...

First time stepping out of my usual True Crime genre
Overall it was good, not as scary as everyone said it was but that could be because my imagination is limited. The ending did get me by surprised and it kind of left opening for a second book maybe? This book did not really make me want to keep exploring this genre but if there is a second book, I would read it.

Mind Blowing, Edge of Your Seat!
