This title was recommend from someone who said they had trouble sleeping, it was so scary… and disturbing. I guess I went in expecting more. It was alright, not scary or disturbing in my opinion. I’d recommend it if you need to exhaust a credit. There also was never a clear answer as to what it was or what was going on/why things were happening.

WTF

This book was confusing as hell. Not even sure what I just listened to, tbh. Also, the audiobook was incredible annoying keeping in the Morse code beeps. Thank you for giving me heart palpitations at the end of every chapter!!!! I wish someone could’ve given me the cliff notes of this because i genuinely don’t know what this book was.

Couldn’t stop listening

Deeply unsettling. Once I started listening, I couldn’t stop. Recommended to anyone who is into horror.

Yearning for a sequel

Loved the performance. The narrators were fantastic. The story kept me hooked in wanting to know what was going to happen. However I did wish the ending had us all knowing exactly what took place. But I do love the tiny glimmer of hope it left for the FMC. Now the author should write a sequel. Haha I think we all want the answers to the questions we have after reading this.

The hallucinations real are not

like the moral of the story it kept me thinking and asking questions such as was it real or not

Storyline was incredible, always shifting, never knew what was coming next. Spooky story, gave me chills multiple times 👏🏼

Not terrible, but oh so predictable.

The static and high pitched tones at the end of the supplemental materials was the worst idea. Worst.

Incredibly well done and unsettling

I loved this book and couldn’t stop listening to it. The narration was wonderfully eerie and the story was disquieting and hard to stop thinking about.

Coraline for adults

It felt like such a familiar story that I couldn’t put my finger on and then I realized, this story bears a striking resemblance to Coraline, What if the story of Coraline happened when she was an adult? Read to find out.

Good but not tied up at the end

Intriguing story! However if you are like me and want all the loose ends to be tied up in a neat little bow, then this may not be the book for you.
