When I became a nurse, I feel like I was told over and over again about how amazing nursing was, just to be left disappointed once I was in it. Now, every conversation I hear around nursing is about how terrible it is, and that's problematic too. We need to be honest about the good AND the bad. We need to challenge the existing narrative, and feel empowered enough to make real change.

This is a big part of the why behind our name. Healing Healthcare starts with the belief that nurses have the power to change a broken system. So buckle in for a deep discussion about empowering nurses and shifting culture.
