  • 46 \\ Why “Simple” Is My Goal

    Just because something seems complex, confusing, overwhelming, difficult, or involved does not make it better. Simple can be better and should be our goal.

    As Albert Einstein said, "if you can't explain it simple, you don't understand it well enough."

    We need to keep the main thing the main thing, as Stephen Covey says in his book, 7 Habits of Highly Effective People (linked below).

    Don't get tricked into trying to do everything and it needing to be stressful and overwhelming all the time. Do what you are meant to well, and keep it simple - for everyone's sake.

    6 months is a long time, but can also pass too quickly if we don't slow down and stay intentional.

    I accidentally did the 6-month challenge which focuses on personal development by in essence "disappearing" for six months and working on yourself.

    Whether on purpose or accident, I encourage everyone to do this challenge as the personal growth and awareness you experience that positively affects every aspect of your life is amazing. This episode talks about the main things I learned.
