Having journeyed around the world, I've worn multiple hats – dancer, choreographer, teacher – and delved into the realms of production and management. Among the remarkable milestones, Clarke Quay in Singapore stands out as the Entertainment Capital that holds a special place in my heart. Proudest Chapter: The proudest chapter unfolded with the arrival of my identical twin boys. The challenges of carrying twins tested my physical and mental strength, marked by a C-Section and two additional abdominal surgeries, including full muscle repair for Diastasis Recti. Amidst this journey, I discovered the isolation resulting from the lack of pre and postnatal exercise options. Transformation into a Specialist Women’s Yoga Teacher: This struggle fueled my transformation into a 300HR Specialist Women’s Yoga Teacher. 'Yogabellies Moray with Katie' was born in January 2022, dedicated to guiding women through pregnancy, postnatal stages, motherhood, and menopause, locally in Moray and online. Accolades and Achievements: This journey culminated in a significant achievement – being named the Pre/Post Natal Trainer of the Year 2023 at the Scottish Health & Fitness Awards. As my business evolved, I expanded its scope by crafting unique events and workshops, leading to the inception of KDB Energy®. This expansion was fueled by recognizing the widespread demand for stress reduction and relaxation. It became evident that my transformative energy is sought after not only by women but also by individuals of all ages, including children. Certified Health & Wellness Coach: In addition to my yoga expertise, I am also a Certified Health & Wellness coach, bringing a holistic approach to well-being that encompasses both physical and mental health. Current Role as a Senior Yogabellies Teacher & Teacher Trainer: Today, I proudly serve as a Senior Yogabellies Teacher, contributing to the global community by helping train other Yogabellies teachers worldwide. This role enables me to share my expertise and passion for holistic well-being on a broader scale.
