"My mother-in-law is the worst person on the planet. On Wednesday night, we invited the family out to (local restaurant) to celebrate my daughter's 12th birthday. Everyone bought presents. I was stunned when my daughter opened my mother-in-law's gift. She bought her a scale. Everyone at the table gasped. I can't believe she bought a scale for a tween. That has to be the worst gift ever. My mother-in-law says it's a great gift because my daughter can monitor her weight and this in turn will make her a healthier person. I totally disagree and think the gift is going to make my daughter self-conscious. The family is divided over the gift because they don't want to offend my mother-in-law. "I hate drama and it's all around me at the moment. The man I was dating in April got jailed for doing something extremely stupid. It was online and on the news so everyone knows about it. Shortly after he went to jail, I met a great guy. He treats me right and wants to build something together. I just found out that I am pregnant. The convict is the father. I'm thinking about telling my new guy he's the father. He will give my child a much better life than the convict. I know it's wrong to do but feel it's the best thing for my child. Should I go through with it? What would you do if you were me? Is it wrong if no one knows or ever finds out?"
