About Rebecca Mora and Gut Gal:

Gut Gal was developed over a lifetime of education and hands-on experience. Truly, it all started in Rosarito, MX while she was working as an Alcohol & Drug Detox Counselor, manager and fitness trainer.  This position enabled her to embrace the ever changing situations that arose regarding nutrition, fitness, detox, holistic modalities, Stem cell therapy and ancient medicine.  Following that experience, she opened a retreat for patients with cancer. Her retreat provided healing modalities, nutrition, cooking classes and counseling.  After my high risk pregnancy and the birth of her beautiful daughter Camila, she developed Thyroid cancer.  Rebecca was offered a Health Coach position with Health Secrets following my personalized Cancer detox recovery protocol.  As a Health Coach, she realized her passion to further her education by becoming a Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner (HHP).  Rebecca had a deep desire to share her natural gifts in therapeutic counseling and absolutely loved what she did.  While studying as a HHP, she created the name Gut Gal because all signs, symptoms and disease start in the gut.

  • Episode 18: Do the Right Thing ….Even Though it’s Messy Sometimes
    Mar 22 2023

There are times in our life when we feel uncomfortable doing the right thing because we fear judgment. But always remember to do the right thing even if it means losing or being uncomfortable as a result of your decision.

In this episode, I shared the backstory of how I came up with the title of this episode and my beautiful memories with my grandparents. I also shared our experience in visiting my daughter’s grandmother and I meditate using the scripture when Paul says “never get tired of and weary of doing what is good, doing what is right.”. In our week-long visit with my in law I saw how children can see and understand our actions as an adult.

With this story, we see the power of owning up to our mistakes and asking for forgiveness. It will also remind us that conflicts and misunderstandings are bound to happen, but it's important to handle them with grace and humility. Admitting our faults and asking for forgiveness can be difficult, but it can also lead to healing and growth. By doing the right thing, even when it's hard, we can set an example for those around us and make a positive impact on their lives.

When faced with difficult decisions, choose to do what is right. Come and join us with this wonderful episode!

    Highlights & Resources:

    • The backstory of how I came up with the title

    • My memories of spending time with my grandmother and grandfather

    • Our visit with my daughter to see her Nana

    • How I meditate on a scripture that encourages not getting tired of doing good.
