• 375: Release the Guilt
    Jul 9 2024

In this episode of "You Can Handle Anything," I explore the heavy and often sneaky nature of guilt, sharing a personal story from a recent family dinner. After deciding not to partake in desserts my mom made, I was unexpectedly overwhelmed by guilt, despite making a simple, healthy choice for myself.

Guilt is a complex emotion that can quickly transform into self-resentment, reminding us that we're often our own harshest critics. During the podcast, I discuss how emotions are essentially energy in motion and how they can change, sometimes needing guidance to move in a constructive direction.

I'll walk you through the specific steps of The unSTUCK Method that I used to navigate and transform my feelings of guilt. This method not only helped me understand my emotions but also taught me how to handle them effectively without letting them control me.

Tune in to learn how to manage and transform guilt, and discover that you can handle anything life throws your way.

  • 374: Consider Agreeing to Disagree
    Jul 2 2024

Have you ever felt incredibly strongly about something, only to find yourself talking to someone who sees things the exact opposite way?

Or maybe they just can’t see your side at all?

    It’s beyond frustrating.

You might argue back and forth, but no matter what you say, they don’t budge.

It feels like you’re the only one suffering, but it’s likely tough for them, too.

This is what unfolded for me last week with one of my kids, following up on last week's podcast episode where we clashed over something I found quite unethical.

I turned to The unSTUCK Method to escape that frustrating deadlock because clinging to being right was getting us nowhere.

In this week’s "You Can Handle Anything" podcast, I dive into exactly what I did and the new perspectives I embraced to resolve this conflict.

Because ultimately, we may not control the obstacles in our lives, but we can master our responses to them.

  • 373: Consider Asking Permission to Share
    Jun 25 2024

Ever felt stuck on how to respond when someone close does something you disagree with? Reacting impulsively can damage relationships and make you regret your actions, while staying silent might leave you feeling like a doormat.

Here's a tip: try asking for permission to share your feelings. It’s a respectful way to communicate without overstepping, and if they’re not open to it, you need to respect their choice.

I faced a similar dilemma with my son recently. He sent a video from California that I found disappointing and unethical.

Conflicted about how to respond, I used the unSTUCK Method.

  • 372: Release Regret
    Jun 19 2024

Ever wake up feeling weighed down by regret over something you did yesterday? 😞

It's a heavy feeling, and it can linger all day—or even longer.

This hit me hard after a recent Father's Day celebration.

We planned to spend the day with extended family, about 3 hours from my parents' house.

I decided to go, even though it meant rescheduling a regular Zoom coaching call.

All was well until things ran late, and I had to leave early to make it home in time for my call.

That's when the guilt kicked in, quickly turning into regret.

I kept thinking, I shouldn’t have gone. And believing it too.

Repeating that story only kept me stuck in a loop of regret, which was no help at all.

So, I turned to The unSTUCK Method to break free. 🔄

I share the whole journey on this week's podcast episode.

    Jun 4 2024

Big news—I’m about to hop on a jet plane and head to the United States for the summer! ✈️ Every year, I cherish this chance to reconnect with family and friends, but this summer, I’m hoping to do something special: an "Unstuck Summer."

From my base in New Jersey to as far as California (or even Canada!), I’m looking to bring the power of The unSTUCK Method to religious institutions, workplaces, and even right in people’s homes. 🏠

This is a fantastic opportunity for you, your friends, and your community to experience a tool that transforms lives, health, and relationships.

Worried I won’t come to your area or about logistics?

Let’s get unstuck from those thoughts! 😊

If you’re intrigued, reach out and let’s chat about the possibility of bringing an Unstuck event near you.

It’s already June, but I’m all about making the impossible possible.

Ready to help create some summer magic? 🌟

    Let's do this!

  • 369: Rulebooks
    May 29 2024

In this episode of "You Can Handle Anything," I delve into one of the most common but overlooked issues in relationships: the "rulebooks" we create for others.

These are the expectations we set about how people should act, speak, and behave—like putting away shoes or doing dishes.

Often, the other person is unaware of these rules, leading to frustration and resentment when they don't comply.

Discover how recognizing and potentially letting go of these rulebooks can transform your relationships, preventing unnecessary conflict and fostering better understanding.

Tune in to learn strategies for managing your expectations and improving your interactions with others.

  • 368: Evolutionary Goals
    May 21 2024

Ever catch yourself thinking, "I wish I could..." or "I wish I had..."? 🤔

Those aren't just daydreams; they're powerful desires pointing you toward your destiny.

Most of us try to chase these dreams by setting goals.

But here's the tough truth: most people don't achieve them.

    Why?

Well, I want to share two big reasons:

    1. They get hyper-focused on the end result, instead of falling in love with the process and the identity shift that occurs along the way. 💫
    2. When emotional roadblocks pop up, they give up instead of pushing through. 😢

It's a real shame, because it doesn’t have to be this way.

I firmly believe you can achieve your goals because you are the creator of your life experiences.

But you need the right approach:

    1. Create evolutionary goals that transform you.
    2. Plan your journey thoughtfully.
    3. Be emotionally equipped to avoid self-sabotage.
