  • Jimmy's Story
    Jul 2 2024

Welcome back to You're Not Alone Podcast!

This week Morgan and Val sat down to talk with Jimmy, who shares his incredible life story. Jimmy played all the sports, nothing could stop him - until he took a hit to the leg by a ball during a game. He tried to shake off the pain until he couldn't anymore, and a quick trip into the doctor's office turned into a cancer diagnosis.

Jimmy shares what it was like to go through his journey, becoming an amputee as a teen, how he and his family moved forward, and how he refused to accept being seen as different and charged through barriers that might try to limit him, both professionally and socially. With passion, an amazing spirit and support from his friends, Jimmy continued on with sports and has always found a way to do anything he ever wanted to do.
