Resumen del Editor

"Like going to business school and therapy all in one book."
—James Clear, New York Times Bestselling Author, Atomic Habits

Once a barista in a small cafe making $6.50 an hour, Andrew Wilkinson built a business valued at over a billion dollars by the time he was 36—and yet, his path to success was anything but a straight line.

In Never Enough, Wilkinson pulls back the curtain on the lives of the ultra-rich, sharing insights into building a successful business that has been called a “Berkshire Hathaway, but for internet companies,” and a surprising first-person account of what it's actually like to become a billionaire.

Never Enough features both the lessons Wilkinson has learned as well as the many mistakes made on the road to wealth—some of which cost him money, happiness, and important relationships.

Taking a "no secrets" approach to stories the wealthy rarely reveal, Wilkinson is unwaveringly honest about some of the unexpected downsides of money: its toxic effect on personal relationships, how the lifestyles of the rich and famous aren't all they're cracked up to be, and how competition with peers leaves everyone—even billionaires—feeling like they never have enough.

In this book, you'll discover:

  • A candid glimpse into the lives of the super-rich and what truly matters beyond money
  • Insights on building a successful business from the ground up
  • Lessons learned from the mistakes made on the journey to his fortune
  • The surprising realities of life as a billionaire and the challenges that come with extreme wealth

In this rare and deeply honest account, Wilkinson examines his journey to nine zeros, what came after that pinnacled number, and the essential things money can't buy.

Have been listening to him on podcast for some time. It was nice to get the full story.

Speed and voice of the book was good. Didn’t put me to sleep. A good listen and some fun mind sets to take note of. Recommend for others to listen.

Paying it forward and backward

I was convinced going in I was not going to like this guy, but thought I might learn something about obnoxious narcissistic billionaires in the hopes that I might become one. I was disappointed at first that he never got into detail about the actual work in building his businesses. I thought he might be an empty suit, and the glib narrator didn’t do him any favors. But this was a refreshing and different angle on business and shockingly the guy turned out to be a somewhat normal and authentic guy who made it and paid it forward AND BACK to the little people who helped him get there.

Money Doesn’t Buy Happiness

I’ve never heard of the author or his contributions to tech. This book offers much insight about having everything and yet having nothing. It's a great read or listen for any aspiring entrepreneur or developer.

What a banger😮‍💨

First review I’ve ever written for a book. Maybe it’s because I’m so early to such a well told, engaging and inspiring story. As a 20 year old this was one of those books that change the trajectory of your life. Thanks Andrew for doing this. Wait, just realized on the cover you’re sitting on the roof. I hope your not supposed to be the grandma on the roof jkjk 😳😳

Unexpected incredible!

I stumbled upon this book just a couple weeks after it came out. I was blown away by the story and life lessons Andrew shares. It’s fascinating to learn more about the psychology behind the comparison game we all play, and the importance of keeping the most important things in life the most important things. Definitely would recommend this book to anyone looking to expand their perspective and think a little deeper about the purpose of life!!

Life is more than money

A bit annoying crackling narrator voice but you get used to it. Interesting life, no particularly dramatic business war stories really, but he made good money and realized that it wasn’t the meaning of life when he was around 40. Probably a message many in business need to hear.

Maybe even better than I thought

I have been a huge fan of Andrew for a long time via the MFM podcast and he always seemed cool, pragmatic, and down to earth this book really just reinforced that and the book mirrored those interviews and the longer form gave Andrew the ability to go into far more depth.

It was really well written too and he should consider doing more books. The story about your man Brian was excellently written and it was outlined almost like a movie....It was also good to know that even billionaires can be fooled sometimes and also don't have it all figured out.

I will never be a billionaire but it was cool to run through how money changes you and your interactions with others and he was super transparent about all of this. Also funny how people are still bitter about things that happened 10 years ago, like the guy in chapter 20.

One critique of the narrator, please either don't do an Irish accent again, or do the work!
