one of my favorite fantasy books ever

The saga ends
The interludes were tedious and some parts I couldn't give a hoot about even while zoning out at work but like Mithras or however his name is spelled, I cannot lie, once again this has been one of my favorite series that I've finished. I cried, I cheered, I wish there was more Victor but he was ultimately... just a sidekick. I don't know if I'll ever listen to the spin-off, if there ever is one, but I'm glad I finished this series. The words minion and lead have gained new meaning to me. If I were to put this on tier list, I'd rank it a solid B. That is my review but remember, the orange is in the henhouse. (Go listen to the perfect run if you haven't already.)

A satisfying ending
one of the absolute best lit RPG fantasy isekai stories I've ever heard. subverts a lot of expectations and tropes and really really made me laugh! I'm going to miss these characters so so much.

A fitting end to the great story
Ever since book 1 release, Vainqueur series has become my favorite in the genre of Comedy LitRPG and I never get disappointed. Even though we had to wait, it's well worth it, trust me. Long live his Majesty (and don't forget that capital M!)

Story line
I enjoyed the humor and concept of an ancient red dragon becoming a level 1 adventurer and following to the conclusion. The narration with the many characters made it an easy choice to listen over many times.

Satisfying Conclusion
Really ended up being a fun series of books. The story sometimes wanders a bit and goes all over the place, but the sidetracking is almost universally enjoyable. The humor, references, and plays on various cliches was pretty fun even at the worst of times. However, I felt the strongest part of the books was the overall character arc of Victor and Vainqueur. It's extremely satisfying to have characters actually change and progress over the course of a series, and I really enjoyed their progression. It was extremely refreshing, as nothing is more frustrating than flawed characters who refuse to change or develop in any way.
