it ain't no ford ranger (AO) but it'll do.

little sketch at first, took me a good minute to get used to this narration but when you finally give in to the madness... it ain't half bad.

perfect little insanity

This is an interesting stories of descending into madness with a twist. I thought this was a fascinating change in writing style that left me chuckling more than I have in a while. The MC is scattered, loses track of his thoughts frequently, has to make "hard decisions," and is insane. He is not paranoid though. Overall, I really enjoyed this book; it isn't like AO, but sometimes that is a good thing.

Not what I expected

Phenomenal gallows, humor had me laughing and feeling generally bad for what was happening to the main character, every single person, unique flavor of dysfunctional

The story is fantastic! The narrator sublime!

The beginning of the story almost had me quitting, but I learned long ago that new stories may take a while to truly sink in. Once the MC meets the "Devil" it begins to really kick into high gear! Enjoy!

The book is a bit more complex, even if it may seem cliche at first, don’t go into this looking for A.O, let’s the story envelop you and pretty much soon you will be having the time of your life! Careful not to laugh out loud

Interesting story, didn't like the voice actors range

Travis Bagwell created a new and interesting world. I am only a few hours in and enjoying the main character a lot. Sometimes hard to follow since so much is explained as if the main character constantly narrates their life with little details explained outside of their perspective.

I enjoy Noah Ward as the voice of the main character. The sarcasm and other comedy relief is fantastic. However, Noah doesn't have the range needed to distinguish many of the characters from one another. With so much talking and not a lot of description of who is talking it all blends together more and more.

Vibe: If Deadpool was put into a tabletop game

If you are a fan of characters like Deadpool, then that’s the flavor of this book. Without spoilers, the character may or may not be an unreliable narrator, their is found families that would make any tabletop game lover proud, and the narrator is sufficiently dramatic. In most books, the performance would be too much, but it’s just right for this one.

5/5 stars if you are in it for fun. Don’t look for a serious tone here, but there are serious subjects. Be prepared for an unhinged main character.

awesome story

I really loved the story and I can't wait for the next book. the narrator though almost made me give up in the beginning. I had to speed it up to
1.75 and it was bearable after that.

So f****d up, but in the best way possible

I will admit, it's a slow pickup with a lot of world building. But the more you read, the more you get lost into all of it. Definitely not a hero's story, but damn is it a fun ride.
