Resumen del Editor

New Powers and Old. A conflict millennia in the brewing. And at the center of it: one man.

Michael has escaped the clutches of the Dark, if only temporarily. Surfacing in the world above, he finds matters no less complex than down below and survival as challenging as it had been in the dungeon.

Is the harder path the one you must forge on your own?

Many want Michael as their ally. Yet more want him dead, and the Dark is not done with him either. Can he find a way to navigate the treacherous waters of the Game and uncover the mysteries about himself?

Or will Michael bend to Powers greater than him?

Follow him on his epic journey of discovery and find out!

Pretty good second book

I like the system that the author has set up and how the players interactive with the world. It was a pretty cool how the mobs seem to have their own arc and aren’t just to level. Whoa, Michael doesn’t hold back, I do wish he more then just a solo character at times. Just to give him more depth instead of a “I have to do this survive and I won’t give in to any of you people with power’.

This is an enjoyable Lit—RPG and you should give it a shot. Especially if you like a book with a lot of battles and schemes.

Good second book

Overall a very nice second book, the MC gets to be smarter more often and things progress nicely, Author fills in why Michael seems a tad overpowered and ties together the plot and multiple characters and factions well.

Potential spoiler:

The spirit tes section was... Bad frankly, the test multiple people have failed seemed so simple and nonthreatening that it's unbelievable no one passed before Michael. Michael has to become fairly dumb in this sequence for there to seem to be any threat and while the author does and overall jod on the imagination side of his story this section felt like he just didn't know what to do and so made a generic test that didn't really seem to TEST much at all and honestly some the ways he passed trials did NOT seem to jive with the purpose of it, I had a hard time paying attention during this point because of the above. before and after are legitimately great, but the spirit test was the lowest point in the whole book despite how important it is.
