Very convincing and you will believe you can do it after listening to Michael speak so passionately through the eyes of science and his own experiences. I must admit I have listened to all of Dr. Mosley's books and have done intermittent fasting for years. I still listened to this one as a reminder of why I do the fasting and because 2020 happened to my waistline. Jumped right back into the 5:2 approach with new vigor!

A quick listen. I didn't think the narration was bad at all, the accent was easy to understand.

I've been doing a variation of the fast 800 for 3 weeks and have lost 10lbs so far. I want to read this book for additional motivation and get the exact schedule. Hoping to lose 20+ more!

I'm a Physician myself and I tried Micheal Mosley's 5:2 diet 7 years ago. It worked for me, but I gave up after a few weeks. I didn't like being hungry twice a week. I've given it another go. This time I went 31 days on 800 cals/day. I quickly adapted - now, hunger doesn't bother me so much. It's a great method and it works!
