Simply exhilarating

Excellent writing style. memorable characters. Simply exhilarating.

Not bad at all

So I actually listen to the author on YouTube (check him out he’s hysterical) and he’s mentioned a few times how he’s an author so I check it out and since I listen to audio books on my way to work I thought, why not?
I’m glad I did. The story is so far (I’m half way done) pretty damn good. The characters feel real and fleshed out. They have arcs that you can believe. The main character feels normal. He’s not a Superman and he’s not invulnerable. He’s realistic.
Now for the bad, the narrator is good but one character he makes him sound like Arnold Schwarzenegger and not every Austrian or German sounds like that, especially one who’s been in the states for so long.
And that’s it. That’s my only real gripe. Get the book it’s fun and enjoyable.

Well done first outing..

Great book, well done first book. A little over detailed in places but I'm sure with time this author will shine even more.

Marvelous story, no drinking required.

Came across this series by Will Jordan's YouTube channel Critical Drinker. I will know go to Critical Drinkers patreon and subscribe to support a real author and offer a prayer that this wonderful series gets the same if not better treatment than Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan series.

Excellent, well-crafted Mission Impossible style

Wanted to see if The Critical Drinker can live up to his own criticism of the works of others. He can. Great novel, good performance, not cheesy. Will proceed with the series.
