This book is a testament of what Christianity can and should be. It is the call to awareness and action that my soul needed.

First book I ever gave snaps to while listening

Listening to Heather’s book is a mix of a lecture with the highest rated professor at your college and a long two glass of wine dinner with an old friend. I started the audiobook on a road trip and continued it on my walks, feeling not just the wisdom of a woman of deep faith, but the presence of the Holy Spirit in her words.

I wondered more than once how Heather must have prayed over her words and the people they would impact. It is so evident in her writing. She is a researcher storyteller of the highest caliber. This book will be a rest stop and a life raft for many a weary journeyer.

Humbling but necessary

I sincerely did not want to read this book, it’s not been “my turn” for a while. But I’m in a better place for sticking with it. Now I need to go back and soak it up. Grateful for the author’s work.
