Invested

Loved that the story was them. It didn’t take long or that it was short it was just right. Steamy. But great open back and forth with the truth and it didn’t have any hidden secrets to long.

Heartfelt Story-great narration

I like Rebecca Yarros writings, so decided I would read the first book of this shorter 2 part duet. There are emotions shared, impossible relationships, crazy family members, and all that is needed for an enjoyable, well-written story. Sometimes the angst felt by the two main characters was difficult and made me want to get into the conversations!

I was able to enjoy the man and woman’s duet version free through my Audible membership, but both expire in a few hours. So for part of my reads, I increased the speed to be sure I could finish both in time. I do think in regards of cost, that both books could have been included as one novel for 1 credit. I would be less likely to use a full credit for a five hour title.

Great love story

The characters in this book were great. They were well portrayed and well developed. This was a great series. The voices were great as well. I love how he fought to get back together with her and did what he needed to do putting aside his own ego or pride. And what a great surprise that he brought with him.

The narrators were perfect

I loved this series it was amazing I loved it. I listened to it back to back and do not regret it. The narrators voices were perfect and I love the story!

Loved this story

i really enjoyed this story and how it ended. It's dual narration and both VAs did such a good job. JF Harding's voice is so freaking swoony. This is one of those series I'd re-listen to just for comfort.
