Does your fear of flying make travel with friends and family impossible? Are you having trouble coping with the loss of a loved one or forgiving yourself for a mistake you made long ago? For the millions of people who suffer from phobias, anxieties, or distressing emotions such as anger, guilt, and grief, the breakthrough science of Thought Field Therapy—an easy-to-use practice often referred to as “acupressure for the emotions”—can make a remarkable difference. In this groundbreaking book, psychologists Peter Lambrou and George Pratt make their highly successful techniques available to everyone through simple exercises that anyone can use to treat everyday emotional roadblocks with immediate and permanent results.
A blend of Western psychotherapy and Chinese medicine, Thought Field Therapy (or TFT) uses the body’s meridian energy systems to treat emotional issues that can take years to unravel through traditional, talk-based therapy. A combination of breathing and relaxation exercises, affirmations, and tapping on specific pressure points on the body, TFT can instantly eliminate problems such as a fear of flying or public speaking, addictive urges, or painful emotions such as embarrassment or regret. Used on thousands of people with a 95 percent success rate, the step-by-step methods in Instant Emotional Healing now allow you to master this amazingly simple, astonishingly effective practice for yourself—and open the door to a lifetime of emotional control and well-being.©2000 by Peter Lambrou, Ph.D. and George Pratt, Ph.D.; (P)2000 by Random Houde, Inc., All Rights Reserved

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
The audio in this recording is terrible. It literally sounds like it was recorded in the 1950's. I would suggest contacting the author, and for a nominal fee, allowing them to re-read and record an updated version. This recording makes me yawn every 5 seconds. At least with the author updating this he/she will be more enthusiastic about the material they wrote. What was most disappointing about Peter Lambrou and George Pratt ’s story?
I am unable to focus due to the lousy background music. What didn’t you like about Peter Lambrou and George Pratt ’s performance?
it's outdatedYou didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
the information in it could be useful.Any additional comments?
I think it would make for great business if the authors of the books would update the recordings of their work.the information in it is valuable but

it's sure not what i was looking for when i DL'd this one. i have no problem with non-western alternatives as alluded to in the description, but these co-authors spend a good first part of the book quoting "research" from other authors the types of which believe water has emotions, etc.
i think audible should recategorize, or for some of us, FLAG this book as a "religion and spituality" selection.
Just add new age and i won't drink it . . .
