Sylvie doesn't need more than food, water, and shelter. Eric wants only to find his sister. But sometimes what we think we need isn't what we need at all, and what we find is more than we expected.

I have listened....

I have listened this series Starting with Cassie's Journey & all she went through!! I was excited to find this book about her brother Eric & his Journey! I can't wait for the next book to come out!! Even though this series has new narrators they did an amazing job! In a way I'm glad Sarah Lyons Fleming switched narrators for this series! DON'T GET ME WRONG THE OTHER NARRATOR WAS JUST AS AMAZING but I like her voices for Cassie, Nelly, Penny, Anna & Peter as well as all the other Characters for that series! So it's good to have new narrators for Eric & his group!

There Can Only be One Best Ever

I absolutely love Sarah Lyons Fleming. I can’t count the times I have listened to this series and her other ones. I’m also not ashamed to say I am 100 percent guilty of harassing and bullying people until they read these books. And not one of them has come back and said, “Well, that was a waste of my time.” Even my book friend who has the complete opposite in taste in books as me said it was one of the best stories she has ever read. She even gave it the highest compliment ever. “That series made me think, I could write a book, which of course I can’t.” That’s how effortless SLF can tell a story.

P.S. I have returned every other “End of the World” zombie/EMP series I’ve bought after 2 hours of listening because of their inferiority to her books.

Great read

Love the book!!! Definitely recommend, however, the main character Sylvie’s mommy abandonment issues becomes a bit annoying.

So Freaking Good

I love this series so much. As a person who truly appreciates the zombie apocalypse genre I have to say how awesome the writing, story, and character development in this series is. The humanity, strength, and shear will of the main characters are both relatable as well as believable. I can really feel the horror and disbelief as realization of the existence of zombies sinks in and the grief of each character's loss. I'm definitely invested and look forward to more.
