Blane and Mira are the 2 love interests. One a psychologist and the other a mafia member. The female narrator started out and I was a little confused at first as to who is the man. Her male voice let me down as I listened. But Shane East came through. Good storyline. I just feel the narrators can enhance an audio book.

Ah the mafia bad boy...

Mira is a psychologist who is attracted to her patient, arrogant bad boy Blain. Blain later rescues her from a group of thugs and divulges that he’s mafia. Mira escaped from that life and decides to push her feelings aside. Only when she arrives at home, she’s confronted by her father & brothers,from whom she had run. Her father is forcing her to marry the son of a mafia boss...guess who is her groom... :). The story takes us through the newlyweds getting to know each other while navigating the intricacies of mafia life. There is a secret pregnancy, kidnapping and blackmail. Then a sweet HEA. Would love to get Marcus’ story.

Dangerous

I really really wanted to give this 5 stars but i feel like a chunk of the story is missing! The ending went from her finding out and then all that stuff went down. Overall it was a good hot story and performance was bomb.

Powerfully delivered dark mafia romance!

If you love dark mafia, Alpha protector romance with some enemies to lovers wrapped up in a steamy package that threatens to burn your socks of this one is for you! Excellent fast-paced story, super spicy, and excellent performances that are really powerful by both narrators! Rachel Knight is new to me, but I will definitely listen to her again. I am narrator motivated and picked this book because of Shane East, a powerhouse performer who always delivers!

Why did it end there?

How can you end the story with the birth scene but not include the birth and stuff? I would have loved to know if it was a boy or girl at least jeesh.
