Are you too nice?
If you find it hard to be assertive, directly ask for what you want, or say "no" to others, then you just might be suffering from too much niceness.
In this controversial book, world-renowned confidence expert, Dr. Aziz Gazipura, takes an incisive look at the concept of nice. Through his typical style, Dr. Aziz uses engaging stories, humor, and disarming vulnerability to cut through the nice conditioning and liberate the most bold, expressive, authentic version of you.
You'll discover how to:
- Easily say "no" when you want to and need to
- Confidently and effectively ask for what you want
- Speak up more freely in all your relationships
- Eliminate feelings of guilt, anxiety, and worry about what others will think

If you could sum up Not Nice in three words, what would they be?
Narrator feels like your new BFF.What about Dr. Aziz Gazipura PsyD’s performance did you like?
I really like the narration. It is conversational, like Dr Gazipura is telling you his life story. What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
Being nice is not a thing to strive after.Any additional comments?
I'm only 3 chapters into the audiobook, but I just have to take a moment to say that the conversational style of narration is so refreshing after months of robotic style readers in the "self help" genre. It's so easy and engaging, and Dr Gazipura is so authentic, vulnerable, and revealing in the details of his story and in his voice. It feels like a heart to heart with a friend--that I'm learning a lot from. I can't speak for the multitude of content of this book yet, but so far it's an easy listen with lots of personal examples and oppotunities to connect to the author's experiences.Engaging read

The author is also the voice talent and so the performance is pleasant, engaging, and sounds spontaneous and much like a podcast.
This book is 18 hours long but is such a fruitful and enjoyable trip that I didn’t mind. The book is a great value. At $17.95 think of it as the ultimate bundle of everything the author had to say at that time on niceness under one title. It could have been two or three related books. But he gives us everything in one fabulous book.
I would rank this book up there with Dyer’s Change Your Thoughts Change Your Life, Covey’s 7 Habits, and the works of Albert Ellis. Well done.
This is a Worthy Book
