Overall Good Story, Feisty characters!

I haven’t listened to or read any of the other titles in this series and this is my first time reading a book by K.A. Merikan. It was a good book, different than what I’d normally read. More violence, but a lot of steam and self discovery. Once getting into the story and wanting to know what happens with Leo and Zolt. It makes me happy to see Leo as sweet and desiring true love.. discovering his true desires. Zolt is just hot and dirty. Exhilarating and Entertaining

Wow, this is truly , a thrilling , fun , non stop , exhilarating and seriously hot AF story , I enjoyed listening/reading.

Wyatt Baker is a new to me narrator. His dramatic , a times OTT , exuberant narration style , took me a bit to warm up. Yet , by %15 into the story, I was fully invested and charmed by his portrayal of Leo and Zolt.

Straight as a Wheel is my first book of the series and it perfectly stand alone .

This book was so far up my alley I think it's my new favorite from this author. It had a dark side and a few twists but nothing too extreme (aside from the poor fish which broke my heart). I'm happy with the ending, there was a satisfying emotional connection, there was an actual plot that was planned out with a bunch of little twists, and it was hot. The narration was fantastic and I hope all the future books remain with this narrator because he really seems to fit the essence and writing style of these books. I 100% recommend.

I liked that this book had more of the opposite Leo the biker thinks he needs the wife 2.5 kids and dog to be happy but failed relationship after failed relationship had him down so when sexy af Zolt makes him an offer he can't refuse he gives in just a little, but the taste of submission is all Zolt needed to make him hungry for the Heller biker and now Leo craves more. I loved that once Leo decided he was all in he was going for it. K. A. Merikan still brings some of the fucked MC life in ways you don't expect and I cringed hard, it hits you right in the feels but I loved this book and highly recommend.

When long ago I read “Outlaw Girls” (Miss Merikan's F/F book), Leo was one of those secondary characters that arouses your interest and make you want to know more about their story, and I couldn't be happier when the authors announced that a book with him as the protagonist would have been written.

Leo, like his sister Rain, is part of the Smoke Valley MC, but he is very different from the rest of his family, in fact his obsession has always been to get married with a girl outside of the club and to start a family with her, in short he is not the usual biker who spends every night with a different woman and thinks only about having fun. And it’s precisely the night he decided to propose to his current girlfriend that everything in Leo's life will start to change.

Zolt has only two interests in life, make as much money as possible and seducing straight guys. All right, he actually has a third, his fish. But the first two are most likely the ones that will risk putting him in serious trouble.
It's been years since he laid eyes on Leo, one of his many preys, and when one night he arrives in his shop in an emotional state, sad and vulnerable, well, when will such an occasion occur again? If at the beginning things become sensual and seductive, with the arrival of a member of a rival club of the Smoke Valley MC, things start to get really bad.

But with that night their story begins.

A story full of secrets, promises, first times, pain and love … a love they didn't know they could feel again.

As always with these authors, reading this book was like riding a roller coaster, I felt so many different emotions in such a short time, I felt like punching one of the protagonists and after an hour I just wanted to hug him and defend him from everyone and everything.
Not to mention action scenes, which cannot be missed with the Merikans, and sex scenes with a high erotic content that kept me listening till the end.
