Chase and Brynn (and Cooper)

Siblings best friend trope is not my favorite. I date my brothers friends and my brother dated my best friend and it was all good. It’s like not dating people you work with but they’re who you spend most I’d your time with.

Anyway, love the miller’s family. Cooper’s a riot but if I was Brynn I would not have put up with his groveling non apologies for so long.

Not my favorite male narrator but that might have been influenced by the 1.05 playback speed. I recommend 1.0 and .95 might be even better

Loved Chase’s story!

I really enjoyed the forbidden best friends’ sister story between Chase and Brynn. I am a fan of the quick courtship story as I have lived that very thing. Ava Erickson was very good but going from Joe Arden in the first book to Vikas Adam in the second book was a little jarring because of their very different styles. Anxious to continue with the Miles family series.

Love This Series

I’ve read the books in this series and am now journeying into the audio versions. I enjoyed listening to Chase and Brynn’s story. The only issue I had was when the male narrator starting talking each time in his chapters. His voice startled me la bot each time when he first started speaking and I had to ease into his narration. For some reason, his voice just hit me incorrectly as Chase. It didn’t stop me from enjoying the audio version, it just took several sentences for me to get past it.

Great Audio

For a while I wasn't sure if I was going to like this audio because the voice didn't sound like it sounded in my head when I first read the book. I have enjoyed every one of Claire's books both regular and audio!
