Ten years ago I ran away from everything I’ve known and vowed never to return. That is, until my flight is cancelled due to weather, and I’m stuck in San Francisco.

Fate is not on my side when I end up in an Uber ride share with the one man I thought I’d never see again.

Zack Hunt was my high school sweetheart, and the boy I walked away from without a note saying goodbye. Except, he’s no longer a boy. No, this man is gorgeous, intense, and heated at the sight of me.

The anger searing off him is nothing compared to the way my heart pounds from seeing him again. Words are said. Feelings are crushed. But when he invites me in to his bar to hash out our past, I find myself following him in, desperate for more.

The line between past and present is blurred when Zack challenges me to a dare - come back home with him to see what I walked away from.

Call me a glutton for punishment, but I do.

Then I challenge him right back to live a day in my shoes.

We drive home to rediscover the past.
We fly abroad to live in the present.
When we stop moving, we realize we may never have a future.

Awwww

This will be a short review. I just loved everything about it. The storyline and the characters were just..... fantastic. It was only enhanced by the terrific naration. I truly didn't want it to end.

Simply a sweet story… in a good way

This story is not overly complicated and just the purest form of butterflies. Narration was great and I’m so glad I found this one. I’ll come back to listen again.

Layover Lover

This was a cute second chance romance. Zack and Jolene where high school sweethearts. But when Jolene lost her parents and her grandmother with in a year she was left completely alone and dying to escape their small town to see the world. Zack was struggling with the recent news of his father's Parkinson's diagnosis and she knew he wouldn't abandon his family so she ran to follow her dream of traveling the world. 10 years later, a reconnection in a shared Uber ride changes everything. They quickly realize the connection they had is still there and a 3 day layover turns into so much more. I really enjoyed thier story.

Just when you think that it's over. And feel like your Heart will forever be tender... It's Hope becomes tangible.
Great Story and I loved the awesome Narration! Very heartwarming... at the point of tears.
