A short to the point book and very useful book, I love this author got 3 of his books and all amazing.

Having benefitted from each of Nic’s books I have read so far, “Healing Your Inner Critic” is definitely a new favorite! Frankly, I have read a lot of “self-help” books and found them impressive but not that helpful. Nic’s books, are exceptional! HIs transparent and relatable writing style and the actionable steps he develops and presents promote Actual Helpful Change. Shame has been a major theme in my life since early childhood. I am confident that as with his other books applying the few, simple yet powerful actions, the “5 Keys”, will change my perception and my life. This book has already begun to help me learn to not be “ashamed of being ashamed”. And it has given me permission and desire to have fun. That is a rare and welcome book!

There are couple core ideas explaining inner processes and giving ideas to heal. It feels like very concrete things to reflect on so it is not overwhelming and productive for feeling better.
