Loved the intrigue and twists and turns

Liam’s narration was fantastic as always and authors turned out a sexy exciting and riveting story as expected.

Fun and compelling!

I love Neve Wilder and her collaboration with Onley James did not disappoint! This was a really interesting story and all the characters were unique in their own right.

Okay, I will preface this...
If you want your thriller full of twists and turns and betrayal (might not be for you)

Holy cow I love this book! Lower angst romance with a underbelly of society twist! The characters are real people whose life circumstances have led them to be a hardened killer for hire and a dark web hacker for rebels and governments alike.

This is also a play on second chance romance which is always a trope that makes me happy

Glad I Kept Listening

After a while I remembered that I read the book when it first came out, and I did enjoy it, but found the main characters challenging in print, too. The reasons for their unlikable bits just comes out, but it's not a surprise. Jonah didn't struggle coming to terms with his attraction to Caspian, which I think could have added to the story. The intrigue, not the romance, kept me listening.
