Wow, this story is full of emotions, upa and downs, just like every day life, when people's are petty, envious, intimidating and what nots. Odette, was classy, caring, sophisticated and overall resilient to say the least, something that can't be said about her mother, sorry IMO,. Gale was passionate and totally in love. Aside from my favorite characters (aside from Gale and Odette) were Wonwanf? and Eliza. The narrators performance was phenomenal and kudos to j.j. McAvoy!

this book brings me to tears...ugh. when Odette wakes up...wilheminas reaction to Gael. and Gail's refusal to go after her when he knew she was leaving. sigh. this is the third time I've listened to this.
