I’m staying out of the woods for a bit

What a thrilling ride! A cross between Indiana Jones and The Mummy with some twisted and freaky monsters added in. The setting in the remote wilderness of Nova Scotia near the rocky cliffs of the ocean made this feel like home to me being from Maine. Well developed characters that really adds to the experience of the story

Stepheal Crichking

I dove in because it was advertised as King meets Crichton. Pretty high bars to meet but I think the writer did a great job of finding the criteria. High quality writing. The story stays on track more than Crichton does imo. Quite a fun small scale story that does realism 7/10, fantasy 8/10, and sci-fi 9/10. The story is well-written enough that I downloaded his other stories also. I shouldn’t forget to mention that the performer does an excellent job, and fed into my desire to download more audiobooks with him in them.

Another solid one

I really like this author. I've listened to three of his books so far and they don't disappoint. He writes good characters, and good relationships, and good monsters. He gets you right in the heart with the people and spooks you with the monsters, be they human or otherwise. This was another good one. And oh that ending!

Never disappointed!

Every time I read another story of his, I enjoy it more. great story, well read, and enthralling. You won't be disappointed.

Hoover is turning into one of my faves

Storyline was great. Loved the 3rd person POV with a different character focus each chapter. His stories never drag on or feel like there’s a bunch of filler. 10 out of 10
