Publisher's summary

In Jim’s absence, Zorlando has been doing a pretty good job keeping Windfall safe.

He doesn’t know - and may not be equipped for - what is heading straight toward Noobtown, though. Will Jim beat the Pirates while he is on Glorious Roberts’ ship? Will he make it back to his beloved city before Maggie, the assassin, gets there? Why are there pirates attempting to sack Windfall? Most importantly, will Shart ever be the opposite of inside out again?

All these questions may or may not be answered in the sixth book of the best-selling Noobtown LitRPG series.

(They will.)

Silly and Awesome

This series just keeps being excellent. It’s funny, irreverent, and nerdy, but still manages to tell a cohesive story. It strikes a good balance of world building with action and advancing the plot. It doesn’t devote whole books to side plots and back stories and administration. You get the info you need but the focus stays on the guy you signed on for in book 1. Can’t wait for 7.

One of my favorite series (minor spoiler)

I’ve been on a Litrpg kick, and this series is easily among the top 3 of the genre. The plot is compelling, and every book leaves the character closer to his goal. The humor between the characters is what makes me continue to listen to the series. Far too many of these Litrpg’s are too serious or the humor is so bad I get annoyed; however, Rimmel’s sense of humor and the narrator’s execution works so perfectly together that I enjoy every moment of dialogue. Now that Jim is back in Windfall, I’m hoping to see an increase in town management as that was one of my favorite aspects in previous books; although, I understand that may be coming to an end as the town is mostly repaired. Maybe more work for the castle?
In any case, keep the books coming Rimmel!

Great series

This is a great story. its litrpg but you dont have to sit with all the level ups and character sheet stuff for half the book like a lot of others, you get just enough that it's fun.

Jim The Curious Puppy

Another great audio book with Jim. The narrator, Johnathan McClain, is amazing and enthralls you into the story.

Absolutely amazing

Not sure if I’m crazy, but the series feels even better after Noon Game Plus. Another great addition!

another great performance

the narrator once again makes this series top tier. the book could have used some more plot advancement but overall still solid.

Still good

This book got a little bit slower in the middle with general banter and more character development but it was beneficial to the whole story arc since more background was needed to keep the line going. Not my favorite one of the series so far but still very good!
