Story Line

The themes developed are very thought provoking and inspirational. The character development was also help me devolp and grow spiritual.

THIS BOOK GOES HARD

The lore, the backstories, the name drops and little smatterings of information thrown in, PERFECTION. THIS BOOK IS WICKED

A great 2nd entry into a very good series

I really like this type of adventure book whereby the protagonist is some crazy strong character, but they just want to farm, or hunt or fish, or raise chickens, whatever and live the remainder of their lives in relative peace.

Kind of like most of the people I know in real life, like me. Just regular people that have a hobby or a passion outside of their workplace and they just want to live. But there are forces that just won't allow it and are bent on constantly harassing folks.

Taxes, bosses, spouses, illness, money problems, etc., they all stick their noses into our business and reduce our enjoyment or safety. Just like life, a constant struggle to just live and be at peace.

But that wouldn't make for much of a book either, so on and on it goes. The characters are interesting and intelligent, complex and simple in their desires. I will admit I hate villain monologues and there is a part in this adventure whereby the baddie starts jawing so I just increased the listening speed but other than that, great stuff and yes, I will be listening to book 3 in the series as it is included in my Plus Catalog.

Doompoints ruined a lot of the story

Pulls me from they story every time they are used because I know they are only a author control and not “natural”

Amazing!!!

So glad I found this series, it really keeps me engaged with not much idle banter. Seth Ring is an excellent author.
