Cairn has finally gained access to the Sanctum…the birthplace of the infernal’s mystic abilities and proving ground for their adolescents, a place filled to the brim with magic and mystery.

The power he needs to solidify a major alliance is close at hand. All he needs to do is settle in, hone his skill, and prove himself with the help of old friends and new. Simple enough. Or it would be, if Cairn was the only outsider to breach the Sanctum. When he arrives, he discovers an old enemy has sealed the Sanctum from the inside, jeopardizing it and holding it ransom. Her demands are simple: “Bring me the head of the usurper.”

Book two of RE: Monarch is here! After cementing itself as one of the most beloved progression fantasy web serials on Royal Road, the series is now on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible (narrated by Luke Daniels). Perfect for fans of Bryce O'Connor, Luke Chmilenko, and Cale Plamann.

Really enjoying the story line and how the narrator brought each character to life. Also the bloopers are very entertaining.

Probably One of the best progression fantasy litRPGs I've read in a very long time. The first book was really good, but the second really drives it home. The best part is how intelligent the MC is. Also the finality of some of the events. One of the main issues with the time loop genre is that the MC can always redo a situation until the ideal outcome occurs. What's so brilliant about the main plot of this particular book is that that is always a background option, but it's not the ideal solution. In fact, it actually leads to a worse outcome. The overarching threat is repeating the loop itself, knowing it wouldn't fix the problem, just make it worse (personally not objectively). It takes a bit of brilliance to back your character into such a dire corner and have such a brilliant twist ready, leading into book 3. The narrator does a great job voicing all of the characters too. All in all this is a fantastic series and I highly recommend it!

Holy shit, this is good..

One of those time loop stories, he said, it may have come across dismissively because the person reading this review was familiar with the genre and had read a few of these already. Then they blinked and looked again at the page they were about to read. Hadn’t they just done that? There was a sense of deja vu that they were about to experience deja vu. Indeed, yes, there was a sense that this review was different. More, the story was different. It was going to be worth their time. And if it wasn’t, well maybe they could forget this ever happened. Yes, keep telling yourself that.

Time well spent
