Good book; I have already prepurchased the next book. Who knows how the next will be.

For me too in-depth magic training

I enjoy the comrade, group trust building, adventuring, level upping... a little too in-depth with the magic training.
I would like to learn more of the bonded dragon soul and dragon egg.
And where is the soul bag.. so he doesn't have to hide his backpack in the shrubs...
Overall... entertaining

Fantastic

Another fantastic book I think I’m gonna really enjoy the rest of this series. With this narrator though , I keep getting flashbacks to the Red Rising series that he narrated previously. Especially every time he says the name, Cassius if you know the series, you know what I’m talking about. If you don’t know the series, I highly recommend it. And don’t get me wrong. This narrator is really good too. A good match for this series.

Well crafted if anxiety inducing story.

The emotional state of the main character does take away from my enjoyment but find the story and people both interesting and flawed in real if not always entertaining ways.
