I know there can never be anything between us and we are completely impossible, but that word isn’t in Hayden’s vocabulary. If there’s no room for him in my life, he’ll make room.

But then, disaster strikes.

Surely now, even Hayden can see that some things really are impossible, and maybe we’re one of them.

Well Written

I love Sam Mariano. I wanted to read Contempt but needed to read this first. I was expecting more evil from the book that came after 'Even if it Hurts'. This was very mild, which made it difficult to want to finish. it makes me concerned that Contempt will be boring to me.

This was well written like all of Sam's books. There is nothing wrong with it. I was just looking for something darker.

Undertow

Well, I have to admit this was a very cute book. their love story was so adorable, it was a bit fast but hey when you know, you know. Oh and let's talk about that ending. like what the heck was that? does he like her or does he really hate her? I guess we'll have to wait for the next book to come out. the narrator's did a good job too

Ooo I absolutely loved this one! It was a wild ride and I was here for it! Love most of this author’s work so I knew what I was getting going in and was not disappointed! Definitely recommend

Undertow

Undertow is the second book in the Coastal Elite series. This book is about Hayden and Gemma and is told from both of their points of view.

This is a quick whirlwind romance. Gemma and Hayden meet when Gemma shows up to his work asking for help from her creepy neighbors. Hayden instantly has feelings for Gemma and wants to be with her. However Gemma has different feelings.

Hayden's son has been bulling Gemma's daughter for years. Will Gemma and Hayden get their happy ending? What will happen between their two kids?

After picking up Even If It Hurts i've been looking so forward to more from this world! Ever since i found out about Undertow i wanted to get into it and i knew this audiobook would be the perfect time to do so! I started listening and got right back into the Coastal Elite world! I so enjoyed this listen!

Having listened to Heather Firth and Jeffery Holz narration before i was so happy that they were narrating Undertow! Both Heather and Jeffery captured my attention quickly. I got right into this story and back into this world. From the attraction to the unexpected, Heather and Jeffery captured Gemma and Hayden's story so wonderfully through their narration! I can't wait to listen to more of these two in the future!

Gemma and Hayden's journey pulled me in! As these two and their worlds collide, will they be doomed from the start?

I really liked the different way Gemma and Hayden were brought into each other's lives. I didn't know what all to expect in this listen which got me into it even more! Both Hayden and Gemma had me going through many emotions throughout listening. I wasn't sure how these two would tackle their feelings and certain things in their lives.

With Undertow, Ms.Mariano has created a good story that had me feeling many things from start to finish! I am so looking forward to everything she has in store for us next!
