It is part of a series and does end on a cliffhanger. Fans of Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer L. Armentrout, and Raven Kennedy will fall in love with this series.

Loved the narrator.

I found the story to lag sometimes as the author couldn’t quite decide if Scarlett was the baddest ass fighter ever or a sickly victim of betrayal. I’m debating on whether the next story will pick up the pace. But there is a good idea here beneath a few too many words from a sick room.

not a single thing. I enjoyed every moment of this book. some parts are more difficult to get through butnits because of this it feels real. it M

this book has been on my TBR forever. so I was a little scard that it would not live up to my expectations of it. let me tell you Lady of Darkness was beyond better then what I thought it would be. this book was amazing. as I read the book it just continued getting better and better. it truly was just amazing. I am obsessed. I can't wait to continue this story in book two Lady of Shadows! I love it 🖤

like the complex world build

I think an editor could have chopped this down significantly and still had a great story. I like the characters although I pictured Scarlett less whiny overall. More of a kick ass take names later type character. There is a lot going on and mysteries to figure out. Love interest to figure out. So on to the next, then the next lol. I love Laura Horowitz as the narrator, but I think a separate male narrator for Soren would have knocked this listen out of the park.

I have never left a review on an audio book, or a book that I’ve read. This series has had a stranglehold on me since I’ve read it. Now I heard the audiobook and it is OUTSTANDING!! PERFECTION!!
