Great new spin off!

I am already a fan of Ms. Bowen's Brooklyn Bruisers Series and it looks like this new Hockey Guys series is going to be a spinoff and/or a bit of a genre split (M/M).

Regardless, to me, I loved being able to step back into a world that has already been developed, with characters that I have come to know and love. Unfortunately, there was not enough of these characters, in essence they were more on the periphery and (that is one thing that I would make as a suggestion - more, more, more of the players and their partners that we now know and love....) but I digress.....

We get to meet Hudson - the new hockey player who was just traded to the Brooklyn Bruisers. We then meet Gavin - the new trainer who just got the job with the Brooklyn Bruisers.

What I loved so much about this story was that there was DEPTH to the storyline. Gavin is a new single father to a young daughter, trying to rebuild his life after the death of his husband. Hudson is the son of a hockey icon - who also happens to be his agent - who has been traded time after time and just wants to find a team to be able to settle down with and begin to put down roots.

Bottom line, I really enjoyed this book and loved the narrating duo of Teddy Hamilton and J.F. Harding. I think this might have been my first experience with Mr. Harding (I'm going to need to go and check that) but Mr. Hamilton is quickly becoming a favorite narrator of mine.

This was a fun and easy read/listen that left me with a satisfied, happy feeling when it was finished. Plus, there were enough seeds dropped during the story that iit looks like there will be many new storylines that can sprout from this.

Omg..Sarina Bowen....love love this story. Hudson and Gavin are fantastic. I laughed, worried and love how they evolved. And let's just talk about Teddy Hamilton... One of the BEST narrators I've heard. I think I am on the 5th book. Teddy...your performance is excellent. Just they way you tell the story and make these characters come alive. Its just fantastic. J.F. Harding and Teddy Hamilton are a great combo. SO good .... Enjoy!

Lighthearted and fun with the usual MM tropes

This was just at all around enjoyable audiobook. The narrator’s were very good. The story is moderately erotic.

I couldn’t stop!!

I listened to this book in 2 days!
The chemistry is amazing! A must read for sport mm readers.

Tears from a romance novel

Love the book. Teddy H is my favorite voice artist. Kind of thought it might end the way it did but still I was unprepared for the emotion it evoked for me. I very much enjoyed this book.
