This is good…

Clever- several twists and turns- fantastic narration, loved it and didn’t want it to end.

Wow What a Ride!

This book is so full of twists and turns and I just simply could not stop listening. As some of the other people have commented, this author must have extensive knowledge of medical protocol because everything she said is so entirely realistic, as far as what happens with patients in the ICU and the status of the character on life support. Amazing how realistic she portrayed that aspect. But there were certain parts that really took me by surprise. Narration was excellent also.

Very Frustrating Read

I never write reviews but had to on this one… it starts SO slow for at least half the book and then has a pretty good twist BUT the main character is so insanely naive she drives me crazy, just makes one bad decision after the other even though she’s portrayed as smart. Yes, there are a few twists but pretty easy to see them coming, I think that’s why it was so frustrating as a reader because you figure it out so much farther in advance than the character does that you have to just sit and listen to her make these painfully terrible and stupid decisions over and over again. Tough read for me as you can tell haha

So many twists and turns. I loved it! This is absolutely a must read! I can’t wait to check out other books from Mary Kubica.

The overall uncertainty

First, let me just say WOW. This story, in addition to being well-written, and steadily paved with a plethora of colorful, exquisitely descriptive words, invites readers to contemplate just how well they know themselves and those around them, and how well they understand the motives and intentions around and within them. I picked this up when I saw it reviewed, and put it down when I finished it curious, surprised, emotionally spent, and a little in awe.

Enjoyed but a little less than past stories not sure why exactly but not my favorite. Still high reviews and highly recommend.

Good story as usual!

I always enjoy this authors books as the characters are well developed and she keeps me guessing until the end and then you still may not know for sure. I can’t wait for her next one. The narration on this book was also excellent.

Great book by a phenomenal author. I’m never disappointed by her books and this one was no exception.
