    Do you workout consistently but don’t see the toned, defined look you hope for? A lot of hygienists come to me looking to build muscle which is a great goal but, in talking with them, I see most often they are doing all the wrong things. In order to build muscle, we need to rest so that our muscles have time to repair and grow. If you are working out 6 days a week, you are doing way too much and hindering the results you could have. More is not better when it comes to building muscle! Not to mention that working out too much increases muscle soreness as well as the risk of injury.     In today’s episode I am sharing my client Rachael’s transformation. Rahael shares that because of her neck, shoulder, trap, and upper back pain, it was a struggle to get through her day. After work she would come home and just want to lay down in bed. She was too exhausted to cook dinner or play with her daughter. She actually had taken 3 months off of work completely due to her chronic neck pain and because of this, she knew she needed to do something for herself.
