Dr. Jane McGill is in heaven.

I've listened to both of the books in this series and the story and narrator were fantastic. the books of some really comical moments in them but you can get into them right away and they keep your attention you can really feel what the characters feel. I hope the author writes more like this even though I also enjoy her other books like the housemaid books and things like that that have some very interesting twists to them

I enjoyed Book 1 quite a bit… the humor, the story, etc. I felt that, while there are a few of the same characters, it had a very different rhythm and feel from Book 1. It seems like this would have been a better Book 4+ as we’ve walked through Jane’s life with her so it doesn’t feel like such a stark difference.
I do really appreciate the choice to have Jane make the realizations she did about her marriage how and when she did. There are also some funny parts and heart-warming parts.
