Publisher's summary
The Corruption grows stronger–but so does Damien.
Damien left Mountain Hall victorious, eager to reunite with Sylph and spend some much-earned time relaxing. The Corruption has other ideas. Plans set into motion eons ago are finally clicking into place.
The greatest threat this Cycle has seen mounts on the horizon, but the nobles can’t even settle their petty disputes, much less present a united front against the end of the world. In the end, to Damien and Henry, it doesn’t matter. No matter who stands in their way, they refuse to let everything they’ve worked so hard to protect fall to the Corruption.
If the Mortal Plane is to continue existing, then there’s only one option.
They have to do what even the combined forces of the Void couldn’t–defeat Second once and for all.
The sixth and final book in the My Best Friend is an Eldritch Horror Series. It's slice-of-life mixed with LitRPG in a magic school setting. A slow build power fantasy from Actus, the bestselling author of Morcster Chef.

Story
Life isn't that easy. Just like everything else, there are rules and regulations—and Chance didn't make the cut. Not until a lucky encounter gets him a one-way ticket to his future. A world where he can make something of himself. If only he hadn't landed in the middle of an endless maze full of monsters salivating for his life. Sen never dreamed of ascension. Such were the aspirations of the rich young nobles, not orphans like him, scraping together a meager living on the streets of Orchard’s Reach. However, when destiny takes an unexpected turn, Sen finds himself thrust into the role of a cultivator’s disciple. Chosen over the nobles who once looked down on him, he is adopted into a makeshift family of three ancient cultivators, each with a lifetime of knowledge and insights. These old monsters will teach Sen everything they can, from the art of the jian and spear to the mysteries of arcane alchemy.

Ashlock wakes in the courtyard of a demonic sect... as a tree. A tree that eats people. An odd start to a new life. Almost as strange as the humans flying through the skies on flaming swords and challenging the heavens. After all, this is a world where humans could chase the goal of immortality through the art of cultivation. But Ashlock is merely a sapling in a desolate courtyard, left alone with his thoughts and unable to speak to those passing him by. Unless he does something about it.

Ryan doesn’t remember much about his life before becoming a dungeon core. Only that he had a bit of a disagreement with the church—something to do with a beheading? Now reborn, Ryan begins to arm his darkness dungeon with devious traps, bestial zombies and ill-named skeletal creations, without doing anything too evil. Well, mostly. Some adventurers just deserve a stalactite to the head.

A wrinkly old elf tells me that my soul is incomplete and has been fused with that of a Solar Dragon to give me a second chance at life. Where? When? An urban metropolis filled with fantasy races, erected atop the back of a giant asteroid. Meteoropolis. And millions of years in the future, to boot. But that's not all. I've got super powers, too. Best book evarrr! And the greatest series conclusion too! Thanks Actus ❤!
Actus actually pulled out all the stops in this series' conclusion. Need I say, that Realmbreaker is the best book yet, and I loved, loved, LOVED the book. Actus knew how to build each character as each book in the series was laid out, and I for one loved watching Damien, Sylph and even Henry become more than just words on a page. And Actus even worked his magic to make the side characters real too! Really making this one of the best slice-of-life adventure evarrr. In this book we got to watch as our team of students work closely together with teaching mages to get stronger so they would be better prepared to fight the corruption. With best teachers Blackmist had to offer. And after that they're all called to to arms, to fight for their lives and for all the non-combatants. So how can I call it a slice-of-life when it seems like it's more of an action-driven plot? Well it just is, because of Actus and the care he took when writing the story. Even tying everything up in the end...
Peter Berkrot perfectly preformed Damien's story throughout this entire series!!! Bravo!!!

Not bad.
Not bad at all. An excellent end to an excellent series. No complaint from me. I really enjoyed this book series and for me that is pretty telling. A can literally count on one hand the number of series’ that I have enjoyed from beginning to end; and this is now one of them.

A satisfying ending
This conclusion was satisfying enough I believe. The story from beginning to end was a fun adventure. It did feel like there was a bit of a subtle but big pivot somewhere in the middle of the series, that changed the direction of where the conclusion was going to end up. couldn't tell you where, just a gut feeling. kind of wish there was a little more to the epilog, but all in all though, I'm happy enough with how things ended. 4/5 would listen again 👍

I wasn't expecting this to be the final book. It is refreshing to see a series that doesn't go on forever. I loved the humor and pacing of this book. it covers all the plot point and wraps up well.
