Publisher's summary

A sentient dungeon discovers there are more dangerous things in his new world than even himself . . . as the dungeon-core isekai adventure series continues.

Not long ago, the dungeon known as Thedeim was a mere human. But after an up-close-and-personal meeting with a runaway semitruck—and subsequent dealings with a rather flustered Angel of Prodigals—he found himself in a new world, reincarnated as a run-down old house that just barely qualified as a dungeon. However, it didn't take long for him to build his core, mana, and reputation, making friends along the way.

Nowadays, having vanquished the truly vicious dungeon Neverrest, Thedeim is finally getting comfortable. His array of minions—animal, insect, etc.—are well in hand and operating at full efficiency, while he enjoys managing daring delvers and awkward adventurers as needed. He's also working to spread his (mostly) beneficent influence across the land. But it hasn't been easy, what with guiding his own irascible scions, wrangling rogue dungeons, countering truly evil entities, providing for those he cares for, and basically keeping things as non-nightmarish as possible for everyone.

In short, he's a very busy dungeon. And he's about to get busier. Because there are those who don't appreciate Thedeim's efforts. And he's about to discover that when you can't make everybody happy, somebody is bound to become very, very unhappy . . .

The second volume of the hit LitRPG fantasy series—with more than seven million views on Royal Road—now available on Kindle, Kindle Unlimited, and Audible!

Perfect blend of captivating storyline and impeccable narration

I liked everything about this audiobook and I'm not exaggerating.

There's a 15 word minimum for reviews now I'm good.

I love how you flashed out the story more

In general, it’s very enjoyable, the side characters getting more flushed out no explanations, or I guess future characters, getting more fleshed out explanations, and such was great. I am very excited to see where the story goes from here.

This was really enjoyable! Good pacing, the writing was great, the narrator did an excellent job with male and female voices. No complaints and I'll be buying the next one!

The level of world building and internal structure of magic systems 🤣🤩

So hyped for more!!!!! Building a vibrant community of dungeons and races is so unique as to stand out. Especially the fact as only having one human isekaied into the mix!

More light hearted dungeoning!

The first book was a pleasant surprise for me, and this book continues what I love about it: a chill journey about a friendly dungeon in a small town. While there are challenges to conquer for Thedium, they're relatively surface-level. That's to say, there are no evil characters, noone plots or schemes to undermine or conquer. The dungeon wants people to have a good time, grow and protect what it's built. The people enjoy the dungeon and are excited to see the new challenges it brings. It's nice to see everyone be kind and straight headed.

In some ways this story reminds me of a cultivation story. The dungeon grows abnormally strong due to thinking outside the box and being kind, and is regretful when it has to use it's strength. That said, there are few true conflicts in this book, as it maintains the light heartedness throughout.

My main issue is similar to the first book: It just kind of ends. It feels like "All major plot points are resolved for this book, let's wrap it up!". To be honest, it's true and I'm not sure how I would change it? Things wrap up, and a few plot points are left for next time. That said, I'm glad I found this series and I look forward to the next. Only sad to have finished this book so soon after it's release, I have a long wait ahead 😅

A great story

So good it felt too short! A nice continuation, I’ll admit I thought it’d get farther along but overall length is fine.
