A great story of a spunky, apprentice, alchemist, joining with older wizards and creating a new team to help all of them grow and bloom into their magic., while the main character or any of the other thinking beings, do not know what is going on around them. The writer makes it so we the reader do get to see. Which increases the fun of the storyline.

A great start for a new team of wizards

Both the unique story and fantastic narration makes these short audiobooks such a treat. I get SO excited each time a new one is released! Great for kids or adults

love this story!

I would also add that one thing I especially enjoy about it is the lack of over-the-top sadistic villains. I've noticed that in series that are generally wholesome and have heroes that are emotionally immature and genuinely good-natured, there's a tendency to write villains that are as evil as the author can possibly manage. It's like they're so "good" that they can't fathom a way anything can be "bad" without being flat out evil and sadistic. It makes for a really unpleasant listening experience at some points as it's really difficult to enjoy sadism. I prefer morally gray, somewhat likeable villains. This, however, is a classic "human vs nature" story so far with occasional antagonists who seem more immature than flat out evil. This makes for a far more enjoyable story!

I really enjoy this series

The first story in this series was just some worldbuilding and introduction to the main characters. The second story i felt was better, as it had the standard harry potter style school structure to fall back on. It also explained more about the magic system, the political system and who is in power, and started explaining how the main character interacted with other people.

This story really digs into how the main character interacts with other people, and sets up a great stage for future stories. The only thing that i don't like about this series is I wish they were full length. Even if the next one isn't longer, I'm sure that I'll end up getting it because they are so good.

Highly recommended
