Outstanding

Such a good listen! Though I’m sad about the end of the series. The conclusion was worth it and a good pay off. I even got a little choked up at the end. I felt a great connection to the characters and was sad and happy for turn out.

The Better The Story, The Harder It Is To Say Goodbye.

This was a such a unique story that I throughly enjoyed from start to finish. All the adventures and ensuing hilarity from this trilogy will stick with me for years to come. But like all great stories they all have to end and the ending of Qube’s story left me a little sad.

The ending was somewhat abrupt and the burgeoning platonic relationship between Qube and The Chosen One was never really explored after ascension. Other than those gripes I loved these books and will have to be satisfied however unlikely that maybe one day we will get another story with Qube and friends going on another adventure.

classic lit rpg as ya

There are many thematic similarities with D. Rus's Alterworld series but from the inverse perpective. this was an extremely enjoyable listen and I recommend it for Lit RPag with a strong female lead and for its exploration of emergent sentience.

Fantastic ending to a great series

The characters have grown and developed, some in obvious ways, some in completely unexpected ways. The humor and silliness present in the first two books continues, but the stakes are higher and so it does get tuned down a bit.

As always, the voice performances were excellent.

A trilogy worth hearing

This series has always been a fun one. And though I never expected the third story to be so stress inducing, I’m more than happy hearing how it ended. A true must listen for those who like hearing how non chosen ones become their own people and write their own stories.
