Warmth and Positive Vibes

The reader is PERFECT for this book.

I love this series. It really relaxes me, like a surprising amount. It’s the feeling of sliding into the water of a hot bath. It’s being wrapped up in warm blankets without overheating. It’s curling up in an overstuffed chair with a cup of tea on a chilly stormy night.

Arthur really hit the jackpot and if I’m ever asked what kind of world to be isekai’d into - I’ll ask for a nice one.

Great Book! Audio needs a bit of work

I love the story! I want to get that out of the way at the start. It is a light hearted fun story with a bit of romance a bit of comedy and some stakes. I loved it all around including the side stories at the end. It would have been 5 stars all around for me but there are some audio issues with the book that once gone back over would make the book even better. There were quite a few times that it felt like there was a weird jump in the audio and a line would be repeated, There are a couple of instances where multiple voices are layered on top of each other and they were hard to listen to.

Excellent story in a lovely world

This is a lovely slice of life story about somebody setting up a tea-shop in a magical world. It does a great job of having Arthur introducing something new to the world, but not have it massively change the world. It's a big deal to him, and does have some neat impacts, but it's still just boba tea.

It's a very cozy story as he starts his new life, and I'm looking forward to more stories in this world.

While the narrator's performance is otherwise great, there's about a dozen times through the story when he repeats a line, and the publisher didn't go through the effort of editing the recording and removing the mistakes. This is quite jarring, and I don't think I've listen to many audiobooks with this many repeat lines.
